Swimming

Kia Ora koutou,

We are having a fantastic term and have really enjoyed making new friends in Room 2/3. Thank you for all of your support helping your children learn our class routines and helping encourage them to unpack their bags independently.

We are starting swimming on Thursday next week (24th November). Please make sure that all items are named, including your child's uniform, togs, towel and swimming bag. From the 24th onwards we will swim on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Thank you!

The Letter of the Week is "Cc"

Last week the Letter of the Week was Cc. We had lots of fun thinking about all of the words that start with Cc. On Friday Lily and Ange made us some delicious cupcakes! Thank you. We were also lucky enough to have 2 circus performers (Carrot and Pickle) visit the verandah during Discovery Time. They taught us some cool balancing techniques that we practised in buddies. Room 2/3 also enjoyed learning about hermit crabs. The way that they change shells is fascinating! Check out our writing and photos below:

V is for Violin!

We were so lucky to have Mana play the violin for Room 2/3 and Room 5 on Tuesday afternoon this week. Mana played 2 songs called "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Butterfly". She has been playing since she was 4 and we can tell that she is great at practising. Lots of people in Room 2/3 decided that they would quite like to play the violin too. Keep it up Mana!
