Oderings Garden Show

At Opawa School we had a great time creating our display for the Oderings Garden Show. The verandah children made the Opawa Voyager scarecrow during discovery time. The children needed to stuff the scarecrow full of pea-straw. We were excited to receive a Silver Award for our display, along with the "People's Choice Award"! Kei whea mai koutou!

Tara and Jeanette away 8/3/16

Kia ora koutou,

We hope you had a good weekend. The children have had a great day today.

Just letting you all know that Jeanette is on a Middle Leaders Course on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. 

Tara is away on Tuesday and will be back on Wednesday.

Eleanor and Siobhan will be in Room 2/3 tomorrow. We know the children will be great :) Remember that we have swimming tomorrow too!
